Budget and forecast
Set a budget and a forecast on each project, and see spent and remaining beside them.
Spend is only as good as what's recorded.
So you know exactly what the budget figures mean.
- Spent is the total of the project's expenses.
- Salaries marked Paid and purchase-order materials that are received post to the project's costs automatically.
- Other costs (transport, subcontract, equipment and so on) are entered by your team as expenses.
- Forecast is a figure you set on the project. It isn't estimated for you.
- Cost overruns compare expenses tagged with a cost code against the BOQ's estimated quantity × rate.
